Karyn Moyle

Founder, Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation & Perfectly Imperfect Consulting

Karyn Moyle is a proud Eastern Arrernte, Warlpiri, and Jaru woman, born through the Stolen Generations and raised on Larrakia Country in Darwin. She is the Founder of both Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation and Perfectly Imperfect Consulting as well as “Auntie’s place” A non clinical Community led safe space.

With lived experience of intergenerational trauma, Karyn is a passionate advocate and program developer in the fields of mental health, suicide prevention, grief, and healing. Through culturally grounded, non clinical approaches including storytelling and art, she empowers Aboriginal communities across the Northern Territory. Karyn leads with integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to community led healing and long term transformation.

Jayden Moyle is an Aboriginal man of Eastern Arrernte, Warlpiri, Gurindji, and Jaru descent and proudly serves as a Director of Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation.

Jayden brings a dynamic blend of creativity, leadership, and cultural insight to his role. With a deep passion for storytelling, film, and media, he leads the organisation’s digital storytelling and content creation initiatives—using videography and creative media to share community voices, strengthen identity, and inspire healing through culture and lived experience.

Sara Moyle

Director and Trustee

Sara Moyle is an Aboriginal woman of Eastern Arrernte, Warlpiri, Gurindji and Jaru heritage and serves as a Director of Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation. Based in the Northern Territory, Sara brings a strong commitment to community healing, cultural integrity, and lived experience-led leadership. Her passion lies in supporting Aboriginal people affected by intergenerational trauma, mental health challenges, and systemic disadvantages. As a young leader, Sara plays a vital role in shaping the organisation’s culturally safe programs, youth engagement strategies, and governance. She is dedicated to walking alongside her community to foster healing, empowerment, and lasting positive change.

Jon Harris

Jon is an Indigenous Community Engagement Coordinator and Facilitator at Waterlily. His role encompasses program coordination, community consultation, and the integration of culturally appropriate practices to ensure impactful outcomes.

Tamara Shirley

Director

Tamara is a social Policy consultant born and raised on Larrakia Country, with ancestral ties to Papua New Guinea. She has over ten years of experience in social policy, political advocacy, and community-based research.

Her career includes senior advisory roles within the Attorney-General’s Department, the Australian Human Rights Commission, and the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability (DRC). She has held policy and strategic advisory roles to esteemed national leaders, including June Oscar AO, Andrea Mason AO, and Pat Turner, shaping approaches to First Nations health, healing, disability, health and justice.

Her advice is built on a foundation of trust, lived experience, and qualifications in policy and governance, offering a rare combination of high-level strategic insight and on-the-ground cultural knowledge.

Chelsea Rennie

Member of the board

Chelsea is a highly experienced AOD Clinician with over 14 years of experience across Youth Justice, Corrections, and Community Health. She has worked closely with the judicial sector, including the NT courts and the Supreme Court, preparing parole, pre-sentence, and institutional reports.

Chelsea specialises in trauma-informed, culturally safe care for clients facing substance misuse, family violence, and systemic disadvantages. A strong advocate within Unbreakable Voices-Rise UP NT, she bridges clinical insight with lived experience and storytelling to support clients of all backgrounds. Her qualifications span AOD, Youth and Family Intervention, program development and facilitation and Correctional Practice, and she is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in Safer Communities.

Yvonne Neave

Administration

Yvonne Neave – Administration & Co-Facilitator, Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation

Yvonne Neave is a proud Jingili woman from Elliott, Northern Territory, and a devoted mother of two boys. She brings over a decade of experience working alongside young people and community members across the NT, with a strong commitment to cultural safety, connection, and empowerment.

Before joining Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation, Yvonne spent more than five years as a facilitator delivering culturally responsive wellbeing programs and support services. Her earlier work as a youth and community support worker focused on assisting high-risk young people to navigate complex challenges such as mental health, substance use, and intergenerational trauma.

In her current role as Administration Officer and Co-Facilitator, Yvonne supports the coordination of Waterlily Healing’s community-led programs and ensures operational excellence within the organisation. Her grounded presence, lived experience, and deep understanding of the needs of remote and regional communities make her an integral part of the Waterlily Healing team.

Yvonne embodies the organisation’s values of healing, hope, and resilience. Through her leadership and dedication, she continues to uplift individuals, families, and communities helping them to rediscover strength and belonging through culturally grounded healing pathways.

Phillip Voulana’s

Yarning through Strings

Phillip Voulanas (Phil), a proud Arrernte, Djaru, Warlpiri, and Greek musician from Darwin, brings a deep cultural connection and exceptional musical talent to Waterlily Healing’s “Re-Tuned with Phill” program. Based in Melbourne, Phil graduated from the Australian Institute of Music in 2018 and has built a strong reputation as a skilled session guitarist, music teacher, and performer. With experience across live, studio, and festival stages, including Progfest, Midsumma Carnival, and Sydney Mardi Gras, Phil blends technical mastery with heartfelt storytelling. As part of Waterlily Healing, Phil will be delivering music and healing programs throughout the Northern Territory, empowering communities through connection, culture, and song.

Shilo McNamee

Artistic Director,operations and Development.

Shilo McNamee is a Greek and Indigenous (Eastern Arrernte, Jaru) creative based in Darwin, NT. A musician, visual artist, and curator, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Charles Darwin University. Shilo has held leadership roles with the Darwin Visual Arts Association, Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation, and Indigenous Fashion Projects. In 2017, she was selected for the Venice Biennale through the Australia Council’s Indigenous Curator Program. She currently works as First Nations Lead with Regional Arts Australia and runs her creative agency, Ms. Shilo, specialising in arts leadership, cultural projects, and First Nations creative development.

Natasha Maher has generously contributed her time and expertise pro bono to Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation. With over 30 years of experience in mental health, alcohol and drug services, and domestic and family violence, Natasha brings deep cultural knowledge and a strong commitment to community healing. Her work supports our mission to develop culturally safe, non-clinical spaces and strengthen responses for Aboriginal and CALD communities across the Northern Territory. We are grateful for her unwavering support and leadership in empowering grassroots change.

Troy Schoenifisch is the Founder of Crescendo Advisory Services and a trusted financial advisor supporting Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation. With a people-first approach, Troy specialises in helping organisations structure their vision, develop growth strategies, and secure funding. He works closely with the Waterlily Healing team to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the organisation remains accountable and investment-ready. Through Crescendo, Troy brings extensive experience in business planning, funding preparation, and financial strategy, offering tailored support that aligns with Waterlily’s values and long-term vision for community-led healing and sustainable impact across the Northern Territory.
